The ACES in Homeschool ACES Coop stands for Academic and Christian Education for Students. Homeschool ACES Coop was established in September 2007. It falls under the umbrella of the New Life Homeschool Family Ministry of New Life Church of Woodbury, Minnesota. The mission of the New Life Homeschool Family Ministry is to mentor and support families who homeschool their children in Woodbury and in the surrounding community, so that the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified in our families, in the church, and in our community.

Hence, Homeschool ACES Coop is more than just a cooperative that meets for classes. It is an establishing tool for families—encouraging husbands and wives in their God-given roles, parents, both singles and couples, in training their children, and children in honoring their parents.

Homeschool ACES Coop meets Thursdays (except for the last Thursday of the month) from 9:10 am to 12:30 pm at Five Oaks Community Church on Radio Drive in Woodbury. We have Nursery for children under 3 and classes for PreK3&4 and Kindergarten-Grade 1. For Grades 2-3 we offer Science, Art, Learning Games, Music, and P.E. classes. Three groups (Grades 4-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 8-12) rotate during four class periods through Science, P.E., Art/Music, and Speech/Project Club classes. We also offer Technical Writing and U.S. Constitution to Gr. 8-12.

Mothers meet during the coop for prayer, fellowship, and equipping times. Fathers meet six times during the school year to encourage one another in their leadership in the home. Our teachers and class helpers are parent volunteers.

We have monthly field trips as well as community projects. Non-members can email us if they are interested in joining these events..

NEW LIFE HOMESCHOOL FAMILY MINISTRY

Besides the Homeschool ACES Coop, our ministry runs a summer baseball league that is open to ACES members, New Life families, and their friends and neighbors. We also have a homeschool graduation for seniors whose families are actively involved in at least one of the ministries of New Life Church.
